Two wonderful terraces ...

These are the most beautiful attractions of San Placido Inn: two wonderful terraces of big extention: (one is about 150 mq.and the other 30 mq.) from which you can enjoy a really unique landscape. From the biggest terrace, freely accessible for all our guests, you can admire the architectural "jewels" of Catania: the Cathedral, the Badia of St. Agata, San Placido's church, the baroque buildings, Biscari's Palace, the "historic" Catania, universally considered from UNESCO artistic heritage of mankind.

Etna then, in all its majestity dominates high, overhanging the ancient roofs of Catania. In this enchanting scenary there are the little tables where every morning breakfast is served.

Here our guests can enjoy the sun, laying on the sun-beds of our solarium or have their meals, using the kitchen at their disposal. And after a day spent doing shopping or cultural visits, what's better than laying in our sun-beds? From there you can enjoy the enchanting view of an unforgettable sunset where the blue of the sky melts with the red of the sun, which hides behind the baroque roofs of the city.
